I recommend his hotel for an excellent stay just a stone&#8217;s throw from the Senate.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify; clear: both;\">Hotel Baume Paris<\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hotel Baume Paris is a 25-room hotel and 10 Suites and Junior Suites in chic, contemporary Art Deco Style located in the center of the Left Bank that opened in July 2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It replaces the Jardin de l&#8217;Od\u00e9on hotel, which was closed at the end of 2013 to be renovated and repositioned as a 4-star hotel. New products, new services and new processes have been introduced. This period of change is also accompanied by the arrival of new customers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Well in advance of the closing date for existing employees, and at the time of recruitment for new employees, then at the opening date for all. The hotel manager explains that &#8220;.<em>The team has organized meetings and training sessions with managers, and everyone is involved in the opening not only in terms of their job&#8217;s mission, but also by testing out the hotel&#8217;s various services as if they were customers. Ce n\u2019est pas seulement le projet de la direction, ou en tout cas, cela ne doit pas \u00eatre le cas. Pour moi, c\u2019est l\u2019\u00e9chec assur\u00e9. <strong><em>Un repositionnement doit rassembler et f\u00e9d\u00e9rer toutes les \u00e9quipes de l\u2019h\u00f4tel.<\/em><\/strong> Ce n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment, mais il faut trouver les mots et les int\u00e9resser dans la mise en place de leur outil de travail de demain.\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\nIl y aura toujours des r\u00e9calcitrants et vous aurez aussi des personnes motiv\u00e9es qui vous accompagneront pour vous donner des tas d\u2019id\u00e9es. N\u2019oubliez pas que les \u00e9quipes sont sur le terrain au quotidien, ils connaissent les d\u00e9fauts de leur outil de production et surtout les clients avec qui ils partagent leurs besoins, leurs demandes et leur vison. Que se soit la femme de chambre, le voiturier ou un r\u00e9ceptionniste, chacun a sa place dans le projet de l\u2019h\u00f4tel. Je peux vous en parler facilement dans la mesure o\u00f9 j\u2019avais mis en place un projet similaire dans un h\u00f4tel de <strong>350 collaborateurs<\/strong>. L\u2019action a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s positive et a chang\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019esprit des \u00e9quipes. Enfin responsabilis\u00e9es, elles avaient r\u00e9ussi l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de leur offre de services.\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2><div class=\"wp-block-image wp-image-2782\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"374\" class=\"wp-image-45582\" src=\"https:\/\/delporte-hospitality.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Hotel-de-lOdeon-Equipe-www.laurentdelporte.com_-2.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/>\n<figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Hotel Baume team<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2><\/div>\nLa r\u00e9novation int\u00e9grale d\u2019un h\u00f4tel est un moment id\u00e9al pour mobiliser ses \u00e9quipes. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019a fait la directrice de l\u2019ancien h\u00f4tel de l\u2019Od\u00e9on devenu l\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.baume-hotel-paris.com\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">H\u00f4tel Baume<\/a> (H\u00f4tel 5 \u00e9toiles) qui vient de rouvrir cet \u00e9t\u00e9. Cet h\u00f4tel appartient au Groupe H\u00f4tels <strong>Paris Rive Gauche.<\/strong>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\nL\u2019h\u00f4tel Jardin de l\u2019Od\u00e9on a ferm\u00e9 ses portes en d\u00e9cembre 2013. Ses propri\u00e9taires engagent alors de gros travaux pour lui donner une \u00e9toile suppl\u00e9mentaire. Ces travaux s\u2019accompagnent d\u2019une mont\u00e9e en comp\u00e9tence des \u00e9quipes afin de leur donner les outils n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 la mont\u00e9e en gamme de leur h\u00f4tel.\u00a0<strong>Sylvia Harrault, Directrice de ce Palace\u00a0<\/strong>souhaitait pr\u00e9parer l\u2019\u00e9quipe \u00e0 la fermeture et profiter des 7 mois de travaux pour faire monter en comp\u00e9tence les salari\u00e9s.\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\nC\u00f4t\u00e9 budget, ce projet a un co\u00fbt tr\u00e8s important que le budget formation annuel ne pourra pas couvrir. L\u2019h\u00f4tel Jardin de l\u2019Od\u00e9on est un h\u00f4tel 3 \u00e9toiles de 41 chambres o\u00f9 travaillent 11 collaborateurs, et notre budget est de 1\u00a0870 \u20ac.Commencent alors des recherches pour obtenir les fonds n\u00e9cessaires. R\u00e9sultat\u00a0: le FAFIH nous aide \u00e0 hauteur de 13% sur le projet 2013, la DIRECCTE \u00e0 hauteur de 60% et le propri\u00e9taire de l\u2019h\u00f4tel participe \u00e0 hauteur de 27%.\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>In May 2013 the project started with training courses such as:<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2><\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n \t<li><em>French language training for 50% of the team<\/em><\/li>\n \n \t<li><em>English courses<\/em><\/li>\n \n \t<li><em>stress management courses (discovery of theater and techniques such as sophrology, Qi Qong and Chinese gymnastics).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>When the last guest left the hotel on December 10, 2013, there were only 6 of us left in the adventure. The others realized their dreams, their personal projects.<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\nLa vente publique de tous les meubles et objets de l\u2019h\u00f4tel organis\u00e9e dans la foul\u00e9e, a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019occasion de clore cette aventure qui pour certains durait depuis<strong> 22 ans<\/strong>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\nEn janvier 2014, les collaborateurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis \u00e0 disposition dans des h\u00f4tels 4 et 5 \u00e9toiles parisiens et une salari\u00e9e a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 enfin son d\u00e9sir de suivre une formation d\u2019aide-soignante gr\u00e2ce au concours qu\u2019elle a r\u00e9ussi brillamment. Les collaborateurs ont r\u00e9int\u00e9gr\u00e9 l\u2019h\u00f4tel au mois de mai pour y suivre un nouveau plan de formation et \u00eatre pr\u00eat pour la r\u00e9ouverture en juillet dernier.\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2>\nCe plan de formation 2014 int\u00e8gre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quipe actuelle <strong>13 nouveaux collaborateurs<\/strong>. Tous \u00e9criront ainsi une nouvelle histoire\u00a0h\u00f4teli\u00e8re\u00a0!\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><\/strong><\/h2><p>How did you make hotel staff aware of this change, and how did you integrate it into the summer repositioning? How involved were all the teams? What responsibilities have you entrusted to them?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Before being sensitized to the arrival of new guests, hotel staff got to know each other and work together. In fact, of the 12-strong team who worked at the Jardin de l&#8217;Od\u00e9on hotel, only 4 people (including me) opened the Baume hotel. During 3 training sessions, where all employees were present, they worked with their department managers on what we wanted to offer our customers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From July 1 to August 31, 2014, we were in a &#8220;training&#8221; period. In fact, we took advantage of this quieter period to fine-tune our latest set-ups, test the equipment and test the &#8230;. rooms. Get to know each other better to communicate more effectively!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The involvement of the whole team is essential for this project, and everyone must feel that they are playing a part in the role they will have at the hotel. Since the beginning of the adventure, the teams have been regularly informed of the project&#8217;s progress, and we have consulted them.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities were initially entrusted to the department heads, who formed and worked with their teams prior to the opening.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What were the main stages of your project?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project began 2 years ago, when the owner decided to completely renovate the Jardin de l&#8217;Od\u00e9on hotel and to close it down.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following a conference at the H\u00f4tel de Crillon, I realized that it was important to be accompanied in order to successfully manage such an important change. To achieve this, I worked with Perlezenn Conseil.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The next steps were as follows:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>1) We presented the project to close the hotel and reopen it as a 4*.<\/p>\n<p>2) A consultant met each employee to discuss their perceptions of the project and identify the obstacles and, above all, the motivations that would make it a success.<\/p>\n<p>3) We set up a change management training program for managers.<\/p>\n<p>4) All employees have been interviewed by their managers about their skills and their motivation for the future project. The result was a training plan to upgrade the skills of employees who needed it, and the training sessions took place while the hotel was closed.<\/p>\n<p>5) Closing the hotel<\/p>\n<p>6) Training, secondments to 4 and 5* hotels and short-time working.<\/p>\n<p>7) Pre-entry of managers to define and implement the future organization. Do you encourage them to do the same? What would you do differently if you had it to do over again?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It&#8217;s hard for me to make a recommendation, but I think you need to take a long, hard look at the project you&#8217;re about to embark on, and choose the solution that best suits your needs. In the excitement of a new project, we often put our teams aside, thinking that they&#8217;ll eventually follow suit when they see the project progressing.
