What is the specialty of your agency? What characterizes your work?\u00a0Can you tell us about your proudest achievements that will allow us to\u00a0better understand your philosophy? What hotel projects have you worked\u00a0on?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I am largely known for representing green architecture in France. My projects\u00a0include The Building that Grows in Montpellier, The Flower Tower in the 17th\u00a0arrondissement in Paris, and the M6B2 Tower of Biodiversity, currently in\u00a0Chantier, which will be the first residential tower to be built in Paris since the\u00a070s\u2026I also design projects abroad\u2014Gurgaon 71 in India, the Gardens of Anfa in\u00a0Casablanca\u2026In the hotel world, I am frequently called upon to design Palaces\u00a0and resorts\u2014Fouquet\u2019s Barri\u00e8re Hotel, the Samaritaine – Cheval Blanc, the\u00a0M\u00e9tropole Hotel in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, the Aldiana Resort\u2026to name a few that\u00a0reflect creations that are at once contemporary, radical, and respectful toward\u00a0their environment, which are often in the historical center of large cities or\u00a0otherwise sites of exceptional character.<\/p>\n

Edouard Fran\u00e7ois<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Ecole\u00a0Nationale des Ponts et Chauss\u00e9es, Edouard Fran\u00e7ois, an architect and urban\u00a0planner since 1986, opened his own architectural, urban planning, and design\u00a0agency in 1998. Sustainable development, local flavor, and the spotlighting of\u00a0heritage and location recur as fundamental themes in his productions.<\/p>\n

Edouard Fran\u00e7ois is recognized in France and abroad as one of the most\u00a0talented and creative representatives in the domains of heritage, hotels, and\u00a0landscapes. On October 7, 2011, he was named \u201cThe Hero of Green\u00a0Architecture\u201d by C. Woodward in the Financial Times.<\/p>\n

Edouard Fran\u00e7ois was named Designer of the Year in 2011 by the Maison &\u00a0Objet Salon.<\/p>\n

In 2011, the Royal Institute of British Architects named him an honorary\u00a0international member for his contribution to architecture (Int. Fellow RIBA).<\/p>\n

Edouard Fran\u00e7ois is the architect of Fouquet\u2019s Barri\u00e8re Hotel on the Champs-Elys\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

He is an architect for LVMH, for whom he is currently designing the Samaritaine\u00a0Cheval Blanc Palace along the Quay of the Seine in Paris, a Palace that is soon\u00a0to be a flagship for the brand.<\/p>\n

He is also an architect for the Club Med Group.<\/p>\n

Maison Edouard Fran\u00e7ois holds an international presence with large-scale\u00a0projects in Morocco (The Gardens of Anfa in Casablanca), Senegal (Club Med in\u00a0Aldiana), India (Gurgaon 66, Gurgaon 71), Sri Lanka (Krrish Square in Colombo),\u00a0and Qatar (Qatar Chamber of Commerce in Doha).<\/p>\n

In Paris, Maison Edouard Fran\u00e7ois was responsible for designing the M6B2\u00a0Tower of Biodiversity: the first residential tower erected in the French capital\u00a0since the 70s. The green vegetal fa\u00e7ade of the tower allows the winds to\u00a0disperse Class 1 purebred seeds, promoting vegetal regeneration and\u00a0biodiversity in the Parisian metropolis.<\/p>\n
