The\u00a0group owns over fifteen restaurants around the world and currently boasts three\u00a05-star hotels, including one in Paris. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the\u00a0Buddha-Bar in Paris, and I can say that I very much admired it. The architect has\u00a0designed some beautiful work and thought through many of the details involved\u00a0in the organization of the rooms. Your five senses will constantly be at work\u00a0throughout your path within the hotel. Here indeed is a true luxury hotel. The\u00a0manager Monsieur Lo\u00efc Le Berre, who has just changed establishments, has\u00a0greatly contributed to the placement of a service worthy of a 5-star hotel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I invite you to meet Buddha-Bar co-founders Tarja Visan and\u00a0Raymond Visan, of George V Entertainment Group\u2014the same\u00a0group that has launched such establishments as Barfly,\u00a0Buddha-Bar, and Barrio Latino and continues today to\u00a0develop spas and hotels.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What characterizes your hotels in terms of construction and design?\u00a0How do you select the architects who will go on to design your hotels?\u00a0Who are they? How do they embody the spirit of your brand? What is\u00a0their connection with the Buddha-Bars?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We currently own three hotels. All of these sites possess a historical backdrop,\u00a0which we wanted to preserve as much as possible. It goes without saying that\u00a0the design integrates the DNA of Buddha-Bar\u2019s legendary restaurant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We always craft the d\u00e9cor after the site. There is no copy-and-pasting or\u00a0imitating. The d\u00e9cor must bring out the visual design of the location, especially\u00a0when we have the opportunity to establish ourselves in a site with a unique look.\u00a0Of course, we take into consideration the culture of the country, all while\u00a0sprinkling \u201cour decorative spices\u201d to give the Buddha-Bar its signature magical\u00a0atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We\u2019ve worked with numerous architects, and each one brings his unique point of\u00a0view and interpretation of the Buddha-Bar concept. This is what makes this\u00a0exercise so endlessly interesting! Once we decide on a place, we go on to\u00a0choose our architect.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Prague, the building of the Buddha-Bar Hotel was designed by J.CAMSKY\u00a0and built in 1916. We\u2019ve preserved the windows, the stairs, and the handrails,\u00a0and we\u2019ve made identical copies from the original stucco on the ceilings. In turn,\u00a0we\u2019ve placed at the heart of the historical staircase an elevator in red glass, shiny\u00a0numbered room plates along the floor, and gold touches that breathe life back to\u00a0the original moldings. Of course, you will always find the signature lacquers,\u00a0somber woods, and gold features characteristic of Buddha-Bar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2587 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.luxury-hotel-expert.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/exterior-day-gal-01-1300x950-512x374.jpg\" alt=\"exterior-day-gal\" width=\"512\" height=\"374\" \/> And in Paris, the private mansion (h\u00f4tel particulier) dates from 1734. We\u2019ve\u00a0restored the frescoes, ornamental figures, moldings, and staircase. We worked\u00a0with DWA, FRAN\u00c7OIS WABLER on two projects. Fran\u00e7ois has worked with us\u00a0since 1995, so he has an extensive knowledge of the Buddha-Bar concept. He is\u00a0always coming up with new ideas, and he loves to introduce us to new\u00a0technologies or new styles of decoration, whether in fabrics, materials, or colors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2586 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.luxury-hotel-expert.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/3178-so-galerie-photo-hotel-photo-fond02-fr-512x257.jpg\" alt=\"galerie-photo-hotel-photo\" width=\"512\" height=\"257\" \/>For Budapest, we chose the firm REV, CHRISTIANO Benzoni. His work has\u00a0brought in a unique and modern take on the concept, with a newer, more urban\u00a0look for this otherwise imposing palace measuring at 10,000 square meters that\u00a0had originally been constructed for the Duchess Klotild Von Augusbourg.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What are the mutual ties that inspire Oriental and Western culture in terms\u00a0of the art of living and welcoming? How do you define the art of welcoming\u00a0in your hotels? What is your vision?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2592 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.luxury-hotel-expert.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/3178-so-galerie-photo-hotel-photo-fond04a-fr-512x256.jpg\" alt=\"galerie-photo-hotel-photo\" width=\"512\" height=\"256\" \/>We\u2019ve started looking into the fusion between Oriental and Western since the\u00a0beginning by identifying common elements in design, as well as the creative\u00a0Pacific Rim cuisine with its influences ranging from Asian, Hawaiian, Indian, and\u00a0Californian. The Musical style of the Buddha-Bar world and the rituals of the\u00a0B\/Attitude treatments also reflect these fusions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So it was only natural that we should recover these influences in our hotels. The\u00a0client receives an impeccable 5-star service with all the warmth of the human\u00a0touch. A smile can make or break the execution of a service. Our teams are\u00a0young and dynamic, and they are all there to satisfy the client.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">My husband Raymond Visan, who has traveled all his life, nurtured a vision that\u00a0reflected his desire to create \u201chis ideal hotel.\u201d One that has impeccable service\u00a0but where one could also find some time for fun.
